This is our first annual conference created especially for our Off the Ledger Slack community, but also open to all finance and accounting professionals. The topics and presenters have been selected to be particularly relevant to those working to build the finance function and accounting operations in small to early-enterprise companies. Our theme this year is “Small teams. Big impact.”  

There are 7 sessions planned with networking opportunities scheduled to take place between each of the sessions.

The conference is free to attend.

No. Presenters in the stage area of the event will be seen on camera, everyone else in the audience will simply be watching in attendance.

Yes. A number of Airbase team members will be present in the event to answer any questions throughout.

Yes, there will be recordings of each of the sessions, and registrants that are unable to attend will be sent the recordings. In-person attendance is required to qualify for CPE credit.

Yes. We encourage you to invite as many friends and colleagues who can benefit from the conference as you wish.

Yes. Sessions are structured to cover the main content in the first 45 minutes. Those wishing to receive CPE credit are invited to stay an additional 15 minutes after each session to answer poll questions.

Certification of successful completion of each session will be sent to you within one week of the event.

If you aren’t interested in receiving CPE credits, use that time to network in between sessions.

Off the Ledger is a highly engaged and active Slack community of over 3,500 finance and accounting professionals working in small to early-enterprise companies. Members use the platform for discussions, questions, networking, and resources. For over two years the community has made almost 100,000 posts. Topics range from technical accounting questions, software recommendations, hiring, resources, FP&A issues, operational challenges, and more.

Airbase serves as moderator for the community, and works to vet the credentials of each applicant and enforces a strict no-sales policy. Apply to join the community here.

Off the Ledger LIVE! is being hosted on the Hopin platform. Once you register for the event you are also creating a profile on Hopin. This will allow you to join the event.

Once you are in the event, you will notice a few areas within the platform:

• Reception area: Use this as a homepage to find resources, information, schedules, and more.
• Stage area: This is where all of our sessions will take place. Off the Ledger LIVE! is single track so no need to worry about choosing what to attend when.
• Networking area: There will be windows for networking throughout the event. Use this area to meet and connect with other attendees.

We recommend joining the event 10 minutes early to familiarize yourself with the platform. You will be prompted to join the main stage as sessions are about to begin.

Within the Hopin platform there are a number of chat areas. You can toggle between them at the top of the chat box.

1. Event chat: This will be accessible throughout the event and is best used for comments / questions on the event as a whole.
2. Stage chat: This will be used during specific stage sessions and is best used for comment /questions on the specific session happening.
3. Q&A: Throughout the event we will be posting popular questions and answers in this tab to be viewed by the entire audience.

There are limitations of viewing a Hopin event on a mobile browser. We recommend using a desktop device and Google Chrome for the best user experience.

Hopin does offer a mobile app for attendees to watch the event if joining via desktop isn’t an option. Both Android and iOS apps are available in the app store.

For the best experience, Hopin recommends using Google Chrome and ensuring any ad blockers are turned off.

All videos will be broadcasted to the main stage within the Hopin platform. Depending on your internet connection speed, and bandwidth you may experience blurry, fuzzy, or choppy video playback while watching the event stage.

To improve your experience, adjust your stream quality from within the video player. Simply click on the settings button in the bottom right and drop the video quality until the video playback improves. Visit Hopin's knowledge center for more information.
